I think the biggest signing this year, (and the most crucial), will be the Head Coaching job...if we can sign someone that has is well respected, (someone that players would like to play for), it will make Klopas' job much easier when it comes to signing talent...and it doesn't count against the cap...if not, Klopas can coach us...

Totally agree with the coaches rating and comments. The Fire midfield was terrible. Why have Blanco up top if they can't work the ball up to him? The long ball to McBride on every play is not a good game plan. The few dangerous chances the Fire created were when they kept the ball on the ground. The Fire were outplayed, outcoached, and (unfortunately) the best team won.

It just sucks that the difference in the game was a horrible PK call by a less than average ref.

Yes, I am really late on this comment but there are two busses that run after the game and I will disagree with you that they are always packed. One is usually at capacity while the other has space for me to rest my legs on the seat next to me (if I was a cruel barbarian swine).

However, in previous seasons, it would be standing room only on both busses in most cases. Maybe it will get that way in the summer (is it here yet?) and we will see how Superliga plays out in the stands (and on the field too of course).

This is a huge stretch of the concept-near empty. I've been to every game this season and used the Pace bus both ways. You may occasionally find a seat on the ride over because they run 6 buses over two hours, but after the match they cram all those people onto two or three buses on the way back. those PACE busses are always packed.

I wouldn't say that the Fire have trouble "finishing off games" which has led to their slew of draws.

In each one of the draws, the Fire came from behind except for the Kansas City game.

Draw #1: DC goes up 1-0. Draw 1-1.
Draw #2: San Jose goes up 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2. Draw 3-3.
Draw #3: Fire go up 2-0 against KC. Draw 2-2.
Draw #4: Crew goes up 2-0. Draw 2-2.

Looked to me that they just took the foot off the gas too early, giving away possession and being forced to defend for the last 15 minutes. Clearly the better team last night, but the football gods thought otherwise and allowed KC to steal a point on the road.

Thorrington? Playing well this season? Hmm...He was arguably the Fire's MVP last season. Played tremendously last year but has been off this year. I think he is better suited on the right than pairing with Pause.

Don't sit JT, he is playing to well and was just unlucky to get red carded. I think sooner or later Rolfey or Blanco will have to start soon. They are both just too good and proving it every opportunity they get. Denis has some good problems on his hands!
